Merchants Insurance Group’s new “Merchants Mobile” app is the latest offering from the company to help their personal automobile policy holders report a claim.
Debuting March 12, 2012, Merchants Mobile is available for iPhone and Android powered smartphones.
Personal auto policyholders can document and report an accident on the spot to ensure important details are captured accurately and that the claim is handled quickly.
To get Merchants Mobile, a policyholder would simply need to visit their respective app store and search for “Merchants Insurance.”
The free app can be downloaded quickly and used immediately to report a personal auto claim. Merchants Mobile also provides additional information for Merchants’ policyholders such as:
- What to do in the event of an accident
- How to get roadside assistance
- How to report a glass claim
- Document and report a claim to Merchants in real-time
In addition to the smartphone app, Merchants Mobile, Merchants’ policyholders can also report their claim online, to their agent or to their Merchants’ regional claims reporting office.
