Merchants Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Robert M. Ader, SIU (Special Investigations Unit) Investigator, Corporate Claims, has been awarded the professional insurance claim designation of Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA), the highest designation for legal claim professionals through the American Educational Institute, which provides claim law training.
In order to obtain the designation, students must complete a variety of law classes pertaining to insurance claims investigation, and students must progress through several program levels to achieve the SCLA designation, the highest achievable level.
Mr. Ader started at Merchants in 2015 as a Claims Adjuster, and began working as an SIU Investigator in March 2019. Prior to his time with Merchants, he worked for a national insurance carrier in underwriting, claims and investigations.
Mr. Ader also holds a Claims Adjuster license in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Vermont. He is a resident of Clarence, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Management from Adelphi University.
